My educational background is in the social sciences. I have a BA in archaeology and folklore, an MA in Social Anthropology and a doctoral in folklore (ethnology). Reluctant to become tied down to one place, I now work as the editorial director of an agency which offers writing, editing and translation services (www.adverbage.com). This is the kind of work that can be down from anywhere! Before moving to Rome, where I now live, I was based in Mexico and Central America, working on an anthropological research project as well as writing on a freelance basis.
