Program Overview

Business Grammar, presented in three comprehensive course modules, guides you through clearly stated rules and explanations illustrated by business-world examples so that you can review and update your knowledge of essential punctuation and grammar rules. Printable style sheets, wordlists, and a usage dictionary encourage long-term reference. Numerous exercises provide hands-on practice.

In Module 3-Grammar and Sentence Structure, you learn how to recognize and correct such common grammar errors as lack of subject-verb agreement and faulty pronoun use (for example, using I, me, and myself incorrectly). You learn how to recognize and correct such sentence structure errors as fragments, run-on sentences and lack of parallel structure. You also review Eight Proofreading Tips and receive printable reference documents including a Grammar Terms Glossary, an Irregular and Troublesome Verbs List, and a Business Grammar Program Proofreading Checklist.
